Here at Above the Wildflowers Ministries we plan and craft monthly events where we fellowship, break bread, and do engaging and fun activities with one another. We believe in cultivating a community where women can build and strengthen relationships, learn from one another and feel supported.
Some of the events we have hosted are below:
Friendsgiving:
We have a Thanksgiving-themed party with one another and engage in an interactive game.
Pumpkins & Petals:
We gather with our pumpkins, (all pumpkins welcomed) whether real or artificial and use dried petals and Bible verses to stick and decorate the pumpkins with.
Christmas Ornament:
We get together to paint and decorate Christmas ornaments. Whether you celebrate with a Christmas tree or not, it's a fun activity to paint and express your art skills.
Soup Competition:
Our cooking skills come to the test when we all bring a sample of a soup dish, we taste them and vote for the top 3 soups. The winners receive a gold (1st), silver (2nd) or bronze (3rd) ladle as their prizes.
JANUARY'S EVENT: sOUP COMPETITION
These ladies had a cheerful time at our January's themed-event. The winners received a Gold, Silver and Bronze soup ladles as their rewards. The soup winners were: 1st Place (Portuguese Kale Soup) | 2nd Place (Marry Me Soup) | and 3rd Place (Lentil Soup).
FEBRUARY'S EVENT: galentines
In the month of love, the gals gathered to decorate flower vases, assemble a bouquet of flowers, play bingo and eat some delicious snacks and desserts. It was a beautiful and fun time of sisterhood fellowship.
